Raven devices must use an acceptable SD card that come provided with each device or recommended by Raven Connected to comply with the warranty.
Raven is designed to communicate over CANBus. The use of some adapter cables, including 12V, causes Raven’s behavior to change as it is unable to determine if your vehicle’s engine is active. The displays will turn OFF when you are not moving for longer than 5 minutes because it uses the accelerometer to determine that your vehicle is driving.
Please be aware that when the displays are OFF, no video is recording, and Wi-Fi is disabled because Raven has determined that since the vehicle is no longer moving, it is off. Once in motion, it will reactivate the displays.
Use of windshield only adhesive on the vehicles dash can cause damage. Product should only be applied to the windshield.
