Raven Connected and HAAS Alert Partner to Demonstrate Advanced Safety Alerting for Fleets at ITS Canada
May 20, 2025
Raven Connected, the end-to-end AI video telematics and vehicle-to-everything (V2X) solutions platform, today announced plans to demonstrate a new integration with HAAS Alert, the leader in connected vehicle and V2X safety technology. The collaboration brings together two organizations focused on enhancing roadway and driver safety.
For nearly a decade, Raven Connected has continuously evolved its platform, delivering new layers of insight and functionality to improve driver behavior and situational awareness. The integration into HAAS Alert’s Safety Cloud® network marks a significant upgrade, connecting Raven-equipped vehicles with real-time digital alerts that proactively warn drivers of nearby and approaching emergency vehicles, active work zones, and roadside crews. Through this integration, Raven customers can soon benefit from enhanced safety functionality powered by HAAS Alert — giving drivers critical extra time to react, slow down, and move over, dramatically reducing the risk of collisions.
“This demonstration brings together two complementary technologies to address one of the most pressing challenges on our roads: protecting people who work in high-risk environments,” said Dan Carruthers, CEO of Raven Connected. “Through our growing partnership with HAAS Alert, we can expand visibility to drivers on our platform before they see the hazard.”
Raven provides fleets across North America with comprehensive real-time video, GPS tracking, and powerful AI-data insights. Now, by connecting with the Safety Cloud network, Raven is further enriching the on-road experience by delivering timely alerts from millions of connected hazards and vehicles directly to the device’s screen and equipping drivers with valuable insight to make safer, more informed decisions in real-time.
“Safety Cloud protects millions of drivers on the road,” said Cory Hohs, CEO of HAAS Alert. “By partnering with leaders in fleet technology like Raven Connected, we’re expanding access to Safety Cloud alerts, making it possible for more drivers to receive critical warnings that help prevent collisions and protect emergency and roadside personnel.”
A demonstration of the solution being piloted will be shared at ITS Canada. Raven Connected and HAAS Alert are actively exploring expanded V2X integrations and capabilities enhancing roadway safety for fleets, first responders, and public agencies that will be announced in the months ahead.
